The Brain Tumor Center of the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center and Voices Against Brain Cancer will co-host an innovative one-day conference on June 7, 2013, at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. This interactive event will showcase advances in vaccine treatments, nanotechnology, stem cell biology, angiogenesis, gene therapy, targeted therapeutics, novel medical devices, and a host of other topics relevant to the diagnosis and treatment of human cancer.
Complementing an international list of neuroscience and oncology experts will be members of the investment community including buy and sell-side analysts, venture capitalists, hedge fund managers, investment bankers and leaders from non-profits, biotech, and big pharma. CEOs, CTOs and CMOs of private and public companies will be presenting the latest data on paradigm-shifting strategies to treat brain cancer.
These lectures, panels and breakout sessions will provide a very productive interface that will assist in translating research advances into actual therapies for our patients with cancer. We strongly believe that it is this type of collaboration that will accelerate more effective treatments for brain tumors.
